A recent poll suggests that four in five (83%) of British adults agree that the 'throwaway culture' is a huge problem within the UK. 

Green Alliance, who recently carried out the poll said 'there is a need to shift towards a society that uses resources more efficiently'. To add to this, 68% of those surveyed also said that they would support changing how they live in order to achieve this shift away from a throwaway culture.

Despite a desire, and, what seems a willingness to eradicate the UK's throwaway culture, plastic pollution continues to rise, as does the production of plastics.
